Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)

NMT utilizes precise techniques, alternating levels of concentrated pressure, and applied knowledge of trigger points to address functions and dysfunctions of muscles and joints. It results in enhancing the function of the muscles, joints and movement throughout the entire body, and assists in recovery from common pain syndromes, both acute and chronic.

Deep Tissue Massage (DTM)

DTM is a form of soft tissue work that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of muscle within the body. DTM is an effective method for releasing chronic stress in areas due to muscle imbalances, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of deep tissue work, open communications during the session is important in making sure you are as comfortable as possible.

TMJ Massage

TMJ massage addresses dysfunction and pain in the temporomandibular joint, two joints that attach the jaw to the skull, by addressing the muscles in the upper back, neck, jaw and intra-orally. When this area malfunctions the symptoms can result in muscles and joints not working together correctly, causing muscle spasms, pain, difficulty chewing, headaches, and muscle tenderness.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a stress reducing therapeutic style of massage that uses cream or lotion with an array of long and broad strokes towards the direction of the heart to increase circulation along with kneading-like strokes to de-stress muscle tissue. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased levels of stress, improved mobility, and greater flexibility.
